The
Gas Examining Board consist of five (5) members to include the
City Gas Inspector, City Engineer, two (2) appointees from the
local heating trade group and one (1) member from the City
Council. One (1) of the two (2) appointees shall be a certified
Gas Fitter and one shall be an accredited employee of member of
a firm duly authorized and certified to install central heating,
hot-air furnaces or other gas-burning equipment. This Board
prescribes, amends and enforces the rules and regulations
consistent with the Hastings City Code for the examination of master gas fitters and journeyman gas fitters. Members serve a two (2) year term. |
