City Treasurer

The Finance Department is under the direction of the City Treasurer. This department processes all department deposits and receipts. The City's invoices are paid and processed through this office along with all payroll and financial reports. The Finance department consists of two employees and also houses the personnel technician.

The City Treasurer is appointed by the Mayor and confirmed by the City Council. The City Treasurer is responsible for all aspects of the City's finances.

The City Treasurer:
  • handles the investments and banking for the City
  • prepares billings for special assessments and
  • assists the City Administrator with the preparation of the annual budget and State budget forms
