Hastings Fire & Rescue responds to all aspects of emergencies, including fire, EMS, Haz-Mat, and rescue. Our department is also involved in  fire prevention, including planning, public education and building inspections. There are a variety of different apparatus specific to the emergency that will respond within minutes of receiving a call.

Hastings Fire & Rescue operates in an ISO-2 rated community. Our department employs six administrative staff and 30 full-time firefighters who are supplemented by six part-time firefighters. Crews respond from Station 1 and Station 2, offering fire protection for 13.67 square miles and more than 25,000 people.
