Compliance Manager

Under the general supervision of the Director of Administration, establishes and maintains compliance standards for Distributed Controls Systems (DCS) and Data Acquisition Systems (SCADA); trains staff in proper procedures and techniques to ensure service delivery and security; assesses effectiveness of technology.


Any combination of training and experience equivalent to a bachelor’s degree with major course work in Information Technology, Engineering or a related field, plus a minimum of two (2) years of experience working in a networking environment.


  • Establishes standards; trains staff in the proper procedures and techniques of the job to ensure service delivery and security of control systems.  
  • Ensure compliance and adherence with North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC) Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP) reliability standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Assesses the effectiveness of technology already in use or new systems being implemented. 
  • Proactively identifies changes in DCS/SCADA/IT environment and assesses compliance impact
  • Identifies weaknesses in internal controls and opportunities to enhance operational efficiencies
  • Monitors on-going regulatory compliance for DCS/SCADA/IT controls
  • Assesses impact of changes in the regulatory landscape
  • Performs readiness reviews

This position is a full-time FLSA exempt. Monday thru Friday; day hours. May be called upon at other times as required.
