Here you will find information on the different ways to pay your Utilities Bill:

Pay Bill Online or By Phone

You can now pay your bill online using a credit card, debit card, or by e-check.  Have your utility invoice present and click on the “PAY BILL” link below to make a payment.  You may also complete a transaction by telephone by calling 1-844-396-2309.

If you have questions about how this payment option works, call Hastings Utilities at (402) 463-1371 (extension 607) during normal business hours – 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday.

CustomerConnect

Once enrolled in CustomerConnect, HU customers are able to:

  • Receive e-bills
  • View billing and payment history
  • View consumption history for each service
  • Pay utility bills online with a debit/credit card or an e-check

Pay Bill By Automatic Bank Draft

Utility payments can automatically be pulled each month from a checking or savings account by our office. Download and complete the below authorization form. Once you complete the form, mail it in to our office or drop in one of our drop box locations in town.

Other Methods of Paying Your Bill

You can pay your utility bill by mailing it to the address on the envelope included in your monthly bill, or you can pay your bill in person in the Hastings Utilities Customer Services Department located in the West Building at 12th St. and Denver Ave.

Internet Banking

Want a way to initiate payment on your utility bill for the payment amount and time-frame you want? Contact your bank to set up electronic payments that you control.

Budget Billing

Is it easier for you to pay a levelized monthly charge rather than a bill that changes every month? With budget billing, your annual utility costs are divided into eleven equal payments, with the twelfth month being the settlement month. You may apply for budget billing after you have been on service for one full year at your current address and your account has a zero balance. Please contact the Customer Services Department for more information or to enroll in budget billing.

You can also pay your utility bill at any one of the following drop box locations:

* Payments dropped in these locations will not be processed until the following business day.
** Payments dropped in this location will only be picked up and processed 1 time per week.

  • * Allen's Shopping Center (1115 W. 2nd St.)
  • ** Juniata Village Hall (911 N. Juniata Ave.)
