Plan Modification Amendment 2024-04: Ponderosa Park Redevelopment
The Community Redevelopment Authority has proposed a Plan Modification in Redevelopment Area #7, to be known as the Ponderosa Park Redevelopment project. The property is generally located at the intersection of West 22nd Street and North Kansas Avenue, on the east side of North Kansas Avenue. The legally described property is as follows:
A tract of land located in the Northwest Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of the Northeast Quarter (NW ¼ SE ¼ NE ¼); and a part of the West One Hundred Twenty-five Feet (125’) of the Northeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of the Northeast Quarter (NE ¼ SE ¼ NE ¼) of Section One (1), Township Seven (7) North, Range Ten (10) West of the 6th P.M., City of Hastings, Adams County, Nebraska, more particularly described as follows: Commencing on the East property Line of Kansas Avenue, extended, and Two Hundred Eighty-three Feet (283’) North of the Corporation line (North line of Taggert’s Addition); thence North along the East property line of Kansas Avenue, extended, a distance of Two Hundred Eighty-six and Seven Tenths Feet (286.7’) to the South line of 22nd Street; thence Easterly Three Hundred Sixty-one and Forty-eight Hundredths Feet (261.48’) along said South line of 22nd Street; thence South Three Hundred One and Three Tenths Feet (301.3’) to a point Two Hundred Eighty-three Feet (283’) North of a corner of the State park; thence West Three Hundred Sixty-one Feet (361’) to the point of beginning.

The Hastings City Planning Commission will hold a public hearing for this case on Tuesday, July 16, 2024, at 4:00 p.m. at the Hastings Municipal Airport, 3300 West 12th Street, Hastings, Nebraska. The Hastings City Council’s review will follow on August 12, 2024, at 5:30 PM at the Hastings Municipal Airport, 3300 West 12th Street, Hastings, Nebraska.
