Downtown snow cleanup to occur early morning Feb. 20

The City of Hastings will focus on snow removal in downtown Hastings very early Thursday morning Feb. 20.

The area extends from First Street to Fourth Street and Burlington Avenue to Minnesota Avenue.

Vehicle owners are asked not to park in the included area overnight Wednesday.

The cleanup effort will be led by the Street Department with assistance from other city departments and contractors.

Work is expected to be completed by 7 a.m., Thursday so on-street parking can resume before the business day begins.
