Water Safety Instructor

swimming lessons

The City of Hastings Parks & Recreation Department, is an authorized provider for the American Red Cross. Participants MUST ATTEND ALL CLASSES and be at least 16 years old. The certification will remain valid as long as a student teaches a class every year. WSI's receive a wage $15/hr and WSI course paid for by the City.

Lifeguard Training

**Lifeguards working for the City will get their Certification reimbursed if they work 140 hours and available the last week of operations.
