Ted Schroeder

Term

December 2018 through December 2022

Ted was born in Grand Island and moved to Fairfield, Ne in the 7th Grade where he graduated from Sandy Creek High School. He then attended the University of Nebraska but transferred back to Hastings College where he completed a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration.

Ted took a Job that had him traveling for a Animal Health Company covering the State of Nebr and later on Traveled the US  doing Sales and Product Training.  That was a wonderful experience but after 25 yrs I decided that I preferred not to travel as much. He looked at several opportunities but found that Real Estate was the most interesting to him. He spent 2 years with a local company then he and 2 other people decided to start there own company called Hastings First Choice Real Estate.

Dealing with all types of Real Estate and the people of Hastings has been extremely rewarding.

The company will be starting there 12th year in January and he plans on being full time for a few more years.

Ted has been married to his Wife  Lori for 37 yrs and has 2 children Daughter Ashley and her Husband Marcus and 3 granddaughters of Hastings and Son Tyson and Wife Julie and 2 granddaughters of Papillion. Ted has been a resident of Hastings and lived in Ward 2 for those 37 yrs.

Ted really hopes that his experience in business, sales, marketing and real estate will help on the city council. This is a fantastic community and we can all work to make it even better.
