City Attorney

The City Attorney provides legal advice to the Mayor, City Administrator, City Council, and all other Departments on City matters.

The City Attorney:

• Represents the City in litigation
• Prosecutes ordinance violations
• Collects delinquent bills and tax assessments
• Reviews contracts, negotiates major contracts
• Acts as a liaison between the City and other public bodies
• Attends all council meetings and advises on parliamentary procedures
