Personal fireworks to end at midnight July 4

Postponing the municipal fireworks display at Brickyard Park has no effect on the sales and use of personal fireworks, both of which are to end at midnight on July 4, according to city ordinance. The City of Hastings will look at possible code changes to be proposed to Hastings City Council for future Independence Day events that would allow a weather make up for personal fireworks.
