Trail closes along Elm Avenue overpass
A section of the Pioneer Spirit Trail was closed Thursday Oct. 9 along the Elm Avenue overpass between the north and south approaches to allow for the repair of a street light conduit to allow for a utility project.
The trail is on the west side of Elm Avenue. The sidewalk on the east side of the road will remain open.
The section of the Elm Avenue lane closest to the trail was closed a few hours to allow for the opening of the concrete panel.
The closure is anticipated to last a week, possibly longer.
