Sixth annual Stache Bash to be Oct. 24
Members of the Hastings Firefighters Association Local Union 675 invite the public to participate in the Sixth Annual Stache Bash.
This year’s Stache Bash will be held in memory of Alexis Longshore. Alexis died Aug. 15, 2026 at the age of 16 after a courageous two-year battle with cancer.
The event will be 5 p.m. to close on Saturday, Oct. 24, 2026 in front of the First Street Brewing Co. at 119 N. St. Joseph Ave. In the event of inclement weather, the Stache Bash will be held inside the brewery.
The Stache Bash will include live music from The First & St. Joe Band, food from Angus McGee’s Food Truck, mustache auction, drinks and auction to help raise money.
“It’s a way we can give back to the community and raise funds for a family in need and try and help out in just a small way in any way we can,” said Jonas Marshall, Hastings firefighter and Local Union 675 representative.
The Stache Bash is accepting monetary donations as well as items to be raffled off the night of the event.
New this year, the Stache Bash is using online fundraising platform Zeffy. Create an account and give to Stache Bash at zeffy.com.
Every donation helps make this event a success and support the family of Alexis during this difficult time. All proceeds go directly to the family.
