Gravel road closed until conditions improve

The City of Hastings closed West South Street, the gravel road south of the BNSF Railway tracks between Laird Avenue and Marian Road, on Wednesday Jan. 31. The closure is in effect until the road dries out and conditions improve. This road is owned by BNSF, but the city maintains the gravel road according to an agreement in place.
