Utilities offices to be closed July 3 for Independence Day holiday

Most City of Hastings offices will be closed on Friday, July 3, in observance of Independence Day.

Front desk services will be unavailable at:

  • Hastings Police Department
  • Hastings Fire & Rescue
  • Administration
  • Finance
  • Development Services
  • Hastings Utilities
  • Parks and Recreation

Normal hours of operation will resume on Monday, July 6. Other Independence Day information:

·         All 911 and utility emergency services will remain available.

·         The Hastings Museum will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on July 3 and 4

  • Show times will be published at HastingsMuseum.org, but the Hastings Museum will not have a Hollywood film for the holiday weekend.

·         The Hastings Public Library will be open normal Friday hours on July 3: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The library will be closed on Saturday, July 4.

·         The Hastings Solid Waste Landfill will be open normal Friday hours on July 3: 8 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. The Landfill will be closed on Saturday, July 4.

·         The Hastings Aquacourt Water Park will be open from Noon to 4 p.m. with half price admission due to the early closure.
