Drug takeback event to be April 22

South Heartland District Health Department and Area Substance & Alcohol Abuse Prevention are providing a drug disposal event in conjunction with the Drug Enforcement Administration’s National Prescription Drug Take Back Day.

The event will be 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday April 22 on the east side of the Hastings Police Station at 317 S. Burlington Ave., in a drive-thru style disposal.
