Ward 4 town hall meeting to be June 29

The next Hastings City Councilmember town hall meeting will take place 7-8:30 p.m., Thursday June 29 at Hastings College's Barrett Alumni Center, 1001 N. Sixth Ave. 

This town hall meeting will include Fourth Ward representatives Matt Fong and Shawn Hartmann.

The town hall meeting was organized by the City of Hastings and Hastings Area Chamber of Commerce.

The Fourth Ward includes east Hastings, including east of Colorado Avenue and Osborne Drive East, as well as north of Second Street. 

This upcoming town hall meeting follows one on April 27 with First Ward representatives Jeniffer Beahm and Steve Huntley. About 35 people attended the First Ward town hall, which took place at Fire Station 2 at Lincoln Park, 1145 S. Hastings Ave.

Town hall meetings are not restricted to individuals or topics from a specific ward. These events are open to all and provide an opportunity for the public to ask questions, and receive feedback, about city projects.
