HU billing format to change
Hastings Utilities customers will notice a new billing format beginning in October.
The full-color format change will give customers more information about their usage.
Features include graphical representation of usage history for the past 12 months for each service.
There is also a quick glance summary of all services along with graphical representation of the proportion of each service of the total current charges.
The new format includes all the information previously included as well, such as current listing of all meters along with reading dates, current and previous readings and total usage for this period.
The change also provides more transparency, including detailed breakdown of all charges within each service category and billing adjustment factors.
An account summary will show the previous balance and any payments or charges since the previous billing cycle as well as the balance forward and current charges to get to equal the total amount due.
A list of frequently used resources and answers to common Hastings Utility questions is also included.
