City offices to close in observance of Thanksgiving
Many City of Hastings offices will be closed on Thursday and Friday, Nov. 23-24, in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday.
Front desk services will be unavailable at the Hastings Police Department, Hastings Fire and Rescue, Administration, Finance, Development Services, Hastings Utilities Department, Hastings Municipal Airport, Parks and Recreation Department and Hastings Public Library. Emergency response 911 and utility emergency services will remain available.
Also, Hastings Public Library is closing at 6 p.m., on Wednesday, which is an hour earlier than normal.
The Solid Waste Landfill will be closed only on Thursday, Nov. 23, and will resume regular hours on Friday.
The Hastings Museum will be closed on Thanksgiving, but open for holiday hours Friday-Sunday. The Museum will be open 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., Friday and Saturday, and 1-6 p.m., Sunday. The Museum will be closed on Monday.
Normal hours of operation for departments with weekend hours will resume on Saturday, Nov. 25. Normal hours for all other departments will resume on Monday, Nov. 27.
