Jan. 8 council meeting canceled
The Hastings City Council meeting scheduled for Monday, Jan. 8 has been canceled due to inclement weather.
The City of Hastings previously declared a snow emergency to begin at 8 a.m., Monday Jan. 8.
The snow emergency will continue through 8 a.m., Wednesday Jan. 10, based on the latest winter weather forecast that predicts several inches of snow, plus wind. The National Weather Service in Hastings issued a winter storm warning that was later upgraded to a blizzard warning.
