Parks and Rec Department to hold seasonal job fair
The City of Hastings will hold its annual Seasonal Job Fair 1-3 p.m., Sunday, March 3 at the Hastings City Auditorium, 400 N. Hastings Ave.
The Parks and Recreation Department hires more than 200 seasonal employees each summer.
Applicants arrive, fill out an application online at available devices if they haven’t done so already. After finding a seat in the appropriate area for the position they are applying for, applicants are then interviewed on the spot.
The variety of positions offer competitive pay, a fun work environment and a rewarding experience for those seeking their first jobs.
Examples include the following:
· Attendants $12.50-$15.50 per hour
· Concessions $13.50-$16.50 per hour
· Admissions $13.50-$16.50 per hour
· Lifeguards $15-$18 per hour
· Assistant Managers $17.75-$20.75 per hour
· Managers $19-$22 per hour
· Scorekeepers $14.50 per hour
· Parks workers $15.50-$18 per hour
· Cemetery Workers $15.50-$18.50 per hour
