Viscuso is a highly sought after, internationally recognized speaker who has the ability to move people to action.

He takes fire service lessons and makes them applicable to a wider audience.

Over the past two decades he has spoken to hundreds of audiences in and outside the emergency service industry on many topics that include leadership, team building, officer development and customer service.

This will be Viscuso’s second presentation in Nebraska. He spoke in Grand Island in 2022.

His key discussions and insights include:

·         How to Build Trust

·         Building Morale

·         Team Building Exercises

·         Why Teams Fail

·         Mentoring & Succession Planning

·         Effective Delegating

The fee for the public to attend is $50 per person for the 4 ½-hour workshop. Public registration funds offset the cost to bring in Viscuso.

Hastings Fire & Rescue paid for Viscuso’s visit out of the department’s training budget to bring in Viscuso, but HFR Assistant Chief Troy Vorderstrasse said the message applies to all walks of life and he wanted to open the leadership to everyone in Hastings and the surrounding areas.

He said everyone can get something out of Viscuso’s message.

“His message is great for anyone in leadership roles who want to do their jobs better: owners and managers, but also parents,” Vorderstrasse said. “Leadership can come from anywhere; you don’t have to have a title to be a leader. Having Frank provide this workshop is a great asset to the community of Hastings.”
