Museum to bring in Husker football film Day by Day: The Dynasty

After the success of “Day by Day: The Rise” at the Hastings Museum in 2022, the Museum looks forward to bringing that film’s sequel “Day by Day: The Dynasty,” to the super screen theatre April 5-7, 11-14 and 17.

Whereas “Day by Day: The Rise,” told the story of the University of Nebraska football program under Tom Osborne from the 70s through the 90s, this new film “Day by Day: The Dynasty” picks up the story from there.

The program defied all odds, winning three National Championships in four years and becoming one of the most celebrated football teams of all time.

“Day by Day: The Dynasty” documents the difficulty of staying on top. The film features new interviews with Peyton and Archie Manning, coach Steve Spurrier, famous fans like Larry the Cable Guy, and numerous NCAA and NFL legends.

"We booked “Day by Day: The Rise” in 2022 and sold more than 900 tickets, so we know there's a lot of people out there waiting for this sequel," Museum Director Teresa Kreutzer-Hodson said.

Hastings Museum intentionally booked “Day by Day: The Dynasty” in April, before the Spring Game, when thoughts really start shifting toward Husker football.

“Day by Day: The Dynasty” has four evening shows and four matinees at Hastings Museum to try to accommodate everyone.

"The Museum's super screen was built for amazing action and super stories," Kreutzer-Hodson said. "There's no story bigger in Nebraska than Husker football."
