Parks & Rec, Library collaborating on May the Fourth Be With You
Hastings Parks and Recreation, Hastings Public Library and Hastings Vision Clinic proudly present May the Fourth Be with You, a “Star Wars” celebration 5-9 p.m. on May 4 at Libs Park. This free family event will feature VR gaming, light saber training, a Jedi obstacle course, visitors from the 501st Legion and much more!
At dusk, the community will enjoy the most voted on “Star Wars” movie under the stars! Now is the time — vote between April 1 and April 7 for one of the following five “Star Wars” movies below. These are the “Star Wars” films available to the City of Hastings through a licensing agreement. Vote by leaving a comment at Facebook.com/HastingsParksRecreation with the name of the one of these five films you’d most like to see during the event.
