Light weight debris prohibited rest of April 16
The Hastings Solid Waste Landfill at 725 S. Southern Hills Drive is prohibiting light weight debris the rest of the day on April 16, while the high wind advisory is in place.
With wind speeds of 45 mph, the high wind advisory began at 1 p.m. and is anticipated to be in place the rest of the day.
Heavier debris, such as wood waste, construction debris, furniture and even standard household trash as long as it is properly bagged, is still permitted at the Landfill during a high wind advisory.
