Rescue

Hastings Fire & Rescue's Rescue Operations include water, ice, rope, confined space, trench, high/low angle rescue, as well as vehicle extrication.

All full-time firefighters have had specialized training in each type of rescue operation. Currently, the department utilizes one heavy rescue and one quint for the majority of rescue calls.
